A “do-it-all” seeder that will work for most seeding conditions. When you have a variety of soil types whether it be hard dry soil, uneven terrain, rocks and stones or perhaps the ideal seed bed already prepared, and you are looking for one machine that can do it all; then you need a Piket Tine Air Seeder.
FEATURES THAT WILL MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE
- A tine unit has the ability to rip through harsh or even compacted soil, place your fertiliser in the soil and create a seed bed for the seed opener that follows.
- The unique length of our tine unit allows it to travel up and down as the soil surface varies and always ensure seeding at the set depth.
- Robust and sturdy design of our units and frame make for a quality low maintenance machine that can withstand harsh conditions.
- A 12-inch (300 mm) Unit spacing allows for great trash clearance in fields with high residue.
- Down-force can be applied to the tine units by either a spring set-up for simplicity or a hydraulic system for ease of use and adjustability.
- Optionally a cutting coulter can be added to this unit to allow for even better trash clearance, especially in a field with growing vegetation.
- Unit depth is set individually with your press wheel; also acting as your gauge wheel. This combined with the amount of travel the unit allows ensures your opener to stay at the correct depth regardless of the changing terrain.
- The pressure applied to the press wheel/gauge wheel allows for good seed to soil contact.
- This machine is equipped with three 1000 litre bins that allow for flexibility of seed and fertiliser placement as well as ability to separate different sized seeds.
- The Piket Tine Air Seeders come with an open distribution system.
- This allows for simplistic bins that do not need to be pressurised.
- A hydraulics fan comes standard however a PTO fan option is available for tractors with insufficient hydraulic requirements.
- Foldable wing sections allow for narrow width in transport mode.
- Wing sections also travel up and down to further accommodate units in keeping their set depth.
